Back in 2012, Hartmut recognised that these three photos showed the same Tiger with damage to the right hand smoke dischargers, but its number was not established. Trojca suggests it may have been '1' in early 1943.
This photo is currently on ebay.de and shows the turret number '24' in spring 1943. Note the split trim on the left hand flap.
This old ebay pic is another photo of '24' taken around the same time.
This photo from the Archive of Modern Conflict links Hartmut's earlier photos with the split trim seen on '24'. Crewman Emil Engesser is seen here and on Hartmut's middle picture.
Any more thoughts as to it's original turret number?
Two nice photos of "211" have been posted in Facebook. Click them immediately, before that annoying ad appears.
It can be identified by the snow patterns on its side matching a gallery photo. but also by its combination of features (S-mine supports, slanted front hull etc) which match only one of the 9 Tigers with the special turret bin.
A new photo of "100" has appeared.
The source is not given and there has been some doubt about authenticity. But I've compared it in great detail to Greg's big photo and the paint marks are compatible everywhere.
