This photo really was made in Warsaw during Warsaw Uprising. We do know were and by whom but not exact day.
Anyway how good is your Polish?
Few years ago in Polish magazine "Militaria XX wieku" (Nr.1(5)/2008) was published nice article by Robert Wróblewski and Krzysztof Mucha that covers Totenkopf Tigers operations in Poland, mostly based on German microfilms from NARA T-78,T-312, T-314.
Regarding Tigers in Warsaw most important informations are:
train no12 (from Pz.K.1007) by 31th July unloaded in Warsaw 5 PzIV and 2 Pz VI which were concentrated in Stauffer-Kaserne on Rakowicka St.
train 594142 (from Magdeburg) delivered to Warsaw 5 Pz VI, 2 PzBeog IV, and Sd.Kfz.223 on 31th July. Four Tigers were ordered to join other Tigers in Stauffer-Kaserne. The fifth one joined in Zakret kampf gruppe Kroener. In 1st August this kampf gruppe was withdrew to Warsaw together with this Tiger. So that day in Warsaw was present 7 Totenkopf's Tigers (+some other their AFVs).
They were present and active participant of combat in Warsaw till mid August. According 9th Army report Reinefarth had in disposal by 12th August following Totenkopf Panzers:
8 Pz.IV, 1 Pz.V, 6 Pz.VI, 7 Pz. Grillen
